It's been a long time since Boston had enough energy and enthusiam around EDM to host a weekly 18+ night. Thankfully there is a renaissance happening in these parts, allowing us to create Wonderland - no commercial, no cheese, just straight up dance music every Friday night from New England's most respected DJs.

Damien & Jay K are renaissance men. Both have deep backgrounds on the dance floor, in the DJ booth, and as promoters. They came from the rave generation of the 90's, carried their vinyl and threw parties throughout the 2000s, and have now cultivated a youth-driven movement at RISE focused on quality, diversity, and positivity. Welcome to Wonderland.
Mike Swells

Mike Swells has been at RISE since 2004, starting first as a resident DJ in the lounge on Sunday nights (yes, RISE used to be open every Sunday!). Over the years, his role at the club has morphed and matured, but his focus has always remained the same - throwing quality parties for music-minded people.
In the summer of 2010, Mike asked Jay & Damien to partner up with him to throw a new Friday night party. The match was meant to be, and Wonderland was born. While Jay & Damien focus on delivering high-intensity mainroom sets, Mike has taken this opportunity to turn the lounge into a deep and moody den of house and techno. Everything goes in circles, and it is with excitement that Mike exposes this new generation of dancers to more underground relms of the EDM experience.
